1.0 Strategic Business Planning
Worked and given advice to large business entities in various sectors in Zimbabwe namely Zurich Financial Services, Old Mutual, Art Corporation and PG Merchandizing. Carried out strategic planning for Intrahealth Namibia Partners, National Youth Services (NYS) and Namibia College of Open Learning (NAMCOL). Carried out Strategic Business Planning for the International University of Management (IUM), Institute of Open Learning (IOL), Women’s Action for Development (WAD) and the Pupkewitz Group.
2.0 New Business and Proposal Development
Involved in strategic marketing to include new business development at IUM. Lead the design of curricula and study manuals for all the IUMs eight (8) programmes which were later franchised to IOLs Business School and was a senior lecturer in Corporate Strategy, Strategic Marketing, Tourism Marketing and Business Communication. Involved in facilitating/training in proposal development as part of strategic planning for Intrahealth Namibia partners including DAPP, ELCIN and others.
3.0 Governance and Organizational Management
Holder of an MBA from Nottingham Business School (UK) specializing in Business Policy and Performance. Reviewed and developed governance structures for government ministries in Namibia and I was involved in drafting the various organizational management policies to support the strategies and structures developed.
4.0 Procurement and Supply management/Financial Systems Management
Worked for about ten (10) years as an Administration Manager for Eagle Insurance Company now Zurich Financial Services in Zimbabwe to include procurement and supply management for settling claims and general administrative purposes using in-house procurement procedures and putting in place effective financial systems and controls. Familiar with USAID procurement and supply management procedures.
