I come with extensive experience in Humanitarian and Development Affairs/programmes management capacity and strategy development, while providing support/assistance to vulnerable communities and those at risk through the nexuses and approaches of sustainable development.
With a proven background of directing missions, field bases, Project/Programme Management (in respect of the Theory of Change & Project Cycle Management systems and principles), Technical and Field Operations, Data collection its analysis and monitoring (M&E systems), and Compliance activities, I have delivered quality solutions and always mainstreamed the Organization values and goals. I possess a record of success in negotiating with Donors (AICS, ECHO, DFID, OCHA, EU, AFD, FAO, WFP, UNIDO) Government Authorities and Stakeholders, and have always successfully assumed key lead roles in Team Leading, Project Design, Drafting and Reporting (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Annual and Multi-Annual Programme & Policy Framework Analysis and Development for Country operations’ strategies with the ultimate goal to achieve an equitable, fair, and dignified life for all.
In practice, I use my In-depth experience in humanitarian and development affairs to ensure all vulnerable communities and those at risk have access to basic services such as: improved livelihood, dignified jobs, safe food, sanitation, education, health facilities and water all in respect of the environment. As a humanitarian and development actor for WWF, COOPI, UNIDO and KIP International School in Senegal, Malawi, Ethiopia and now in Viet Nam, I conduct myself in a way which is acceptable to the community, hence easy acceptability of the Organization to the community and Government Authorities.
In my experience of working with cross-functional, international teams I have proved to be an independent and team worker with a reputation as a resourceful problem-solver who uses his initiative and organizational skills to get the job done. As a team leader I have learned the importance of building trusted relationships and inspiring shared project vision. When needed, I am prepared to go the extra mile with the ability to remain focused and self-directed especially in fast paced work environment.
I bring real-world experience in developing and implementing successful project plans, communicating expectations clearly, and encouraging team enthusiasm. I strongly believe that my skills match with that necessary step towards a safe and sustainable world!
