Donald Breazeale, Ph.D. is an agribusiness education specialist with more than 25 years of experience in international project management, conducting project assessments and evaluations, agronomic research, extension and educational programs in both developing countries and the U.S. He is currently a consultant for Rise Against Hunger’s (RAH) Empowering Communities portfolio responsible for crop and business development technical services. He has demonstrated expertise in agribusiness education, agronomic research, and skills in program leadership, management and institutional capacity building. Before joining RAH, Dr. Breazeale served as a tenured professor and agribusiness specialist at several international and domestic universities, Director of Research for the Honduran Agricultural Research Foundation (FHIA), and program manager for Purdue University’s Afghanistan portfolio. Dr. Breazeale earned his Ph.D. in agribusiness education from Texas A&M University and his M.S. and B.S. degrees in agribusiness from Cal Poly Pomona. He is a native speaker of English and is also proficient in Spanish.
