Professional Experience:
A results-focused program manager with a comprehensive background in program management, leading and managing teams to achieve results, and stakeholder engagement especially maintaining political partnerships in the country. I am a highly experienced public health professional with documented contributions in leading, developing and empowering people.

A Medical Doctor (MBBS) with an advanced degree (Masters) in Public Health (MPH) both from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. I also have a professional Doctor of Public Health degree from the Atlantic International University, Hawaii, USA.

15 years of professional experience of which 13 are in HIV/AIDS programming including trainings in ART, HTC (HTS), PMTCT and orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) programming. Acquired through supporting the Government of Nigeria (GON) in its HIV/AIDS response through six PEPFAR-funded projects. I have experience working with female sex workers (FSW), out-of-school youth (OSY) and road transport workers (RTW). I also have vast experience in medical and sexual prevention of HIV.

Sound in-depth knowledge and experience in clinical HIV management. Provided technical guidance in HIV program implementation with a view to strengthening linkages to care and support by optimizing the ART/PMTCT care cascades; ensured functioning of the two-way referral system to ensure clients receive care as needed and strengthened drug and commodities logistics to ensure continued supplies.

Worked collaboratively with GON officials, implementing partners, other donor organizations, CSOs/CBOs and my peers alike during the implementation of HIV/AIDS projects. Lead teams in multicultural settings with professionals collaborating across agencies. Supervise teams across geographic settings, oversee consultancies remotely in other countries and solicit/collaborate with HQ colleagues in the USA remotely.

Gained 10 years extensive managerial and supervisory experience in facilitating quality programme results, developing annual workplans including its performance monitoring with a focus on results-based management. Managed project funds worth $10 million.

Knowledgeable in proposal writing and business development processes. Led the proposal team as volunteer capture manager in winning a $ 6.5million Global Fund New Funding Model (GF NFM) Malaria grant. Supported the development of the national HIV prevention, care and treatment guidelines in Nigeria.
