Professional Experience:
Duties and responsibilities

- Coordinating the planning and organization of international meetings with representatives of SELA's 28 Member States and representatives of other partner organizations;
- Writing speeches and preparing presentation to be delivered by the Directors in regional meetings, conferences or seminars;
- Developing and maintaining contact with interlocutors to create alliances and partnerships with relevant actors that would support, fund and endorse our projects;
- Initiated and developed SELA's sub-portal on South-South Cooperation, http://sursur.sela.org/

Areas of expertise: food security, disaster's risk management, migration of skilled human resources, south-south cooperation.

Results and achievements: I proved to have strong social and interpersonal skills by developing and strengthening working relations with key actors which led to an increase of funding for our projects. For several of these projects I managed to get funding from USAID and the UN System.

Reason to leaving. I moved to the Netherlands to continue my academic development by enrolling in a Master Program
Education:
2012-2013 MSc. International Public Management and Policy, Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Main courses: International Public Management, Global Governance, European Union Policy
Making, International Development Organizations, European Union Governance, Transformation of the European Welfare State.
Thesis: "Introduction of civil service reforms in Latin America: through the lenses of neo institutionalism"
Skills gained: Understanding of the theoretical and practical foundations of Public Management and Public Administration reforms. Developing insights that allow me to place real world events into theoretical frameworks.

2010-2012 Graduated Program: Specialization International Politics and Law, Universidad Central de Venezuela
Main courses: Theory of International Relations; International Politics; International Law of Treaties; Negotiation; History of International Relations; Political Violence in International Relations.
All the courses (32 credit) completed, thesis (30 credits) pending.
Skills gained: Excellent analytical and writing abilities and great time management skills. Average grade for the courses 18.5/20.

2005-2009 BA International Relations
Main courses: International Economic Relations I, II, III, IV; International Law I, II, III; Economics I, II; Statistics, Sociology, History of International Relations I, II, III; Foreign Policy; Geopolitics.
