Highly experienced management professional, with over 15-year international experience in both profit and non-profit sectors, Mr Barta has been involved in the management of numerous national and international programs. He has collaborated with various US companies, such as the "Academy for Educational Development" Foundation and Development Alternative Inc., within the GRASP program financed by the US Government through USAID. After his involvement in various international projects implemented by institutions such as European Youth Forum and the Council of Europe, he was involved in coordinating and reorganization of SMURD one of the most important emergency services in Romania, after that he reoriented towards entrepreneurship currently is Executive Director of the Post Privatisation Foundation (FPP), an institution jointly managed by the European Commission and the Government of Romania, aimed at supporting the Romanian small and medium-sized enterprises.

I have a Bachelors degree in Economics and International Relations gained at one of the Universities in Romania. Apart of that I decided to gain some international experience and I took part in several Executive Programs at top universities around the world, like: MIT Sloan School of Management, having a specialization in Entrepreneurship, this helped me in my current position in drafting and initiating a series of educational programs at national level, next step was to apply at INSEAD where I was accepted at the General Management Program and Blue Ocean Strategy, that offered me the opportunity to become and INSEAD Alumni, beside that I got in touch with several markets like Asia and Middle East, offering me the chance to get a sense of international markets, and because I wanted to get the best out from an education program I applied and got accepted at Harvard Business School, General Management Program. The helped me a lot in assessing my abilities and also to learn a lot of new things about management and strategic options being able to study more then 100 companies with different problems and situations that required particular solutions and innovation in gaining a competitive advantage.
