Lily Ciric Hoffmann is an award-winning digital media producer, a multimedia lecturer, and an entrepreneur with 10+ years of experience working in the online media field. She is the multimedia producer of the 2009 Pulitzer Prize-winning project “Reasonable Doubt.” Hoffmann has created and taught numerous workshops and classes to students, media professionals, and civic groups both in the U.S. and abroad. Her lectures and workshops focus on creating effective communication strategies using social media and digital tools to promote transparency and accountability. She has been an adjunct faculty at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland for the past four years and last semester she taught Advanced Multimedia Storytelling class with the focus on the design thinking process. She is originally from Serbia and living in the United States since 2001. Hoffmann has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
