Professional Experience:
I am resourceful, results-driven program development/management, grants based program management and design, community empowerment and advocacy Specialist. Approximately 16 years of professional experience working with various international organizations, non-governmental and governmental entities while working with UNICEF, Chemonics International USAID Funded project, the Regional of office of Save the Children Foundation.
Currently, I serve in the capacity of Executive Director for the Global Fund’s three diseases (HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria) initiative for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA Friends); taking full responsibility of strategy building and implementation, program design, fundraising activities, budget management; and building partnership with civil society and diverse global stakeholders, partners, and media people.
I am an advocate of experiential learning and human rights; as such, the Health Policy Change (HPP-Jordan)/Futures Group- USAID funded Project contracted me in 2012-2013 to assess the current situation for the advocacy plans of Family Planning program for the higher population council, MOH, and the FP Association; and developed advocacy strategies. Additionally, implemented tow training workshops on FP and Advocacy programming to the partners
Additionally served in consultative, training and facilitating capacities in different Middle Eastern countries, in different fields of discipline that provide deference to community advocacy, development / empowerment as I ‘am a certified trainer as a Master Leadership on MDG implementation with the UNDP-Regional Office MENA , accredited trainer on business management with UNDP-ILO the regional offices, and trainer with CEDPA on advocacy and global women empowerment and implemented more than 20 missions in MENA region and more than 70 in Jordan for women, youth, decision makers and businessmen.

Tracking my career history since working with UNICEF for nine years in empowering the community and create structures to network among the public-private sectors to implement the plans that is based on the community (women, youth, and children) priorities and needs. Then moved to the Tourism Enhancement/USAID to enhance Madaba cluster to create a platform with the public, private sector and civil society to improve the tourism public attraction in Madaba and provide a quality service with a willingness of the general public by supporting solid business plans, afterwards managed a Youth Development grants based program with Save the Children in Jordan & Lebanon and managed 15 grants in the two countries. All of these management and advocacy experience gave me the proper organizational skills, guided by visions and missions and were focused on women empowerment and based on gender equity.

In July 2009- March 2014, served as the Executive Director for the Friends of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, & Malaria in MENA region. Mainly my work was to advocate for the 3 diseases among the decision makers in the MENA region at the public sector, and fund raise for the Global Fund by targeting the private sector and the wealthiest philathropists in the region, creating regional and international networks public-private sectors and involving the civil society and building allies for the advocacy programs that took place during the period of working there. Attended the UN summit twice and many othe conferences in Europe in addition to close coordiantion with the WHO/UNFFPA/UNAIDS...etc, at national/regional and international leveles mainly in Geneva.

Consultancy work
Program design and implementation, Since August 2015, worked mainly with the GIZ with 3 main main regional programs “Strengthening women in the Decision Making levels in Middle East’ mainly on women participation in the political life, in addition to working with ECONOWIN for 8 months in a raw as the “Gender Diversity Management” Consultant, to encourage the private sector to implement the Gender Diversity (GD) Management to increase the women labor force (blue collar) in the private sector to enhance at the final end the economy of the Jordan. During 0ctober 2015, as I was assigned as a “Situation Analysis Consultant” In Jordan & Lebanon, furthermore prepared a situation analysis of Syrian refugees in the two countries and presenting the findings in a regional workshop, Managed by Mrs. Sabine Guertner- GIZ. Since the bingeing of the year till May 2016, in the capacity of Advocacy Campaign Manager for the” Manara Award for Gender Equality”, covering the Jordan, Palestine and Lebanon countries. Moreover, consultant with the Jordanian National Commission for Women (JNCW) as a Gender Advisor.


Evaluator and Reseacher
As an advocate of experiential learning and human rights; as such, in the capacity of International consultant conducted a review (MTR) for a Two and Half years “Youth LEAD Project” with UNICEF Sudan during July and August 2014, then conducted consultancy with the GIZ to conduct a mapping of strategic partners for a new project to enhancing women participation in the political life in Jordan and Lebanon. In 2012-2013 assessed the advocacy strategies of MOH, Higher Population Council, and Jordanian Family Planning Association and developed national advocacy strategies for them on RH/FP Program in Jordan in cooperation with Policy Change program-USAID Funded Project. Additionally delivered advocacy and campaigning training to media people on advocacy & RH/FP program in Jordan to promote the strategic outcomes and the process of implementation, in 2013- 2014 worked with the ‘I am here campaign” Campaign organized by the GIZ to enhance women economic situation in Jordan, in the capacity of providing advocacy strategizing training and focusing on the Jordanian laws that concerns working women, in addition to train and b
