Professional Experience: |
I am Masters in two subjects (Library and Information Science and Political Science), and an M. Phil. in Library and Information Science. With 03 international papers published and 03 papers presented; I have attended 05 trainings/workshops on different areas.
I possess a proven experience of 17 years in the Library sector and 02 years of teaching in Digital Librarianship in Ethiopia. Previously, I worked as Project Assistant in Retro conversion and library automation project (from 01-07-1999 to 31-12-1999); Project Assistant in The National Archives of India (from 10-01-2000 to 17-04-2000); Junior Librarian in Sachdeva Public School (from 01-07-2000 to 31.08.2000); Faculty of Library Science in Kurukshetra University and IGNOU’s distance learning (from 2000-2003); Librarian, in Ganga International School (from 2003-2008); Librarian, in Ganga Institute of Technology and Management (from 2008-2011); Consultant in e-documentation and record management unit (from 2011-2015); and currently discharging my duties as Assistant Professor of Digital Librarianship in Madda Walabu University, Ethiopia from 2015-till date.
The justification to leave MaddaWalabu University is nothing but salary stagnancy and non-promotional milieu for the expatriates. Working in a different continent thousands of miles away without any growth is a professional dormancy. I have a robust health, dynamic communicative competence and academic ability to undertake any kind of assignment as per my profile.
