I worked as Logistician for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the Sierra Leone Red Cross Society, GOAL Ireland and OXFAM GB from 1995 to date. I therefore have vast knowledge in Logistics and Supply Management operations particularly for NGOs

Professional Experience:
I am currently working as Logistics Officer at OXFAM GB, Sierra Leone from December 2014 till date. I worked for GOAL IRELAND from October 2014 to November 2014 as warehouse manager. I worked for the ACCESS TO SECURITY AND JUSTICE PROGRAM (a DFID sponsored project)from April 2014 to September 2014 as Logistics and Office Administrator. I worked for the SIERRA LEONE RED CROSS SOCIETY from 1998 to 2013 in various capacities first as Logistics Officer up to Head of Logistics and Procurement.

Key functions I performed in these positions include;
Managing and supervising procurement of good, works and services for the organizations I worked.
Managing and supervising the fleet management operations of the organizations I worked.
Managing and supervising the warehouse management operations of the organizations I worked.
Managing the fixed assets management operations of the organizations I worked.
Clearing goods from the port of entry for the organizations I worked.

My skills and competencies include the following;
Ability to organize and prioritize busy work load and also work under limited supervision
Good warehouse and stock control management skills
Good procurement and fixed assets management skills
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to draft contracts for procurement of goods, works and services
Articulate with good communication and interpersonal skill.
Ability to relate well with others in a team and also maintain flexible working hours
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Software including Word, Excel and Power Point

I therefore have vast working experience and skills in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management field.
