After my PhD in Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin I have been working in different countries as a researcher and educator. In particular, I worked in Peru, Costa Rica, the UK and Iraq.
Since January 2016 I am the director of the Centre for Genocide Studies based at the International University of Erbil in the Kurdish Region of Iraq a local NGO.
