Daouda Traoré is a rural- geography, agribusiness and development specialist with over 28 years of experience working with international development organizations and Burkina private sector to address rural development constraints of local communities. He has Master degree in Geography from the University of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso obtained in 1995. From May 2016 to December 2016, Mr Traoré has been a freelance consultant for Fair trade program. Prior to joining Solidaridad West Africa on August 1, 2013 as Programme Manager for Annual Crops to promote the sustainable development of perennial crop producer communities, he worked as Regional Coordinator for BCI a Switzerland NGO in cotton sustainable production in West Africa. Mr Traoré played many roles in management for 15 years at Cotton Company in Burkina. He trained a number of field agents and producers on agricultural good practices.
