Professional Experience: |
I have work experience of 8 years in the public health domain. In these years, I have primarily worked with Government and United Nations supported programme in cross cutting areas in public health and related sectors.
During my stint as State Programme Manager/Officer, I have been entrusted with diverse roles & responsibilities ranging from program management of reproductive child health programme (RCH-II/NRHM), non-communicable diseases (NCD),elderly care, public health nutrition and in designing policies for health sector reforms.
I have good understanding of country trends in health in Central and South Asia and Europe. My areas of expertise are project management, design, partnership development, resource mobilization, monitoring & evaluation and documentation of public health programmes.

I have completed Master's in Public Health(MPH) programme from Umea University,Sweden.Also done 2 year Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management(PGDHM) from Institute of Health Management Research(IIHMR),India.
My PGDHM course has laid down the basic foundation for health care management. The MPH programme has allowed me to build on my eight years in the profession, and developed policy analysis and advocacy skills.During the programme I have further enlarged my research skills, both qualitative and quantitative. I have passed all courses in MPH programme with distinction.
