Professional Experience:
An International Development Professional with more than 21 years with hands-on experience and understanding of International NGOs and UN agencies programmes.
I gained significant experience in program management through program designing & development, implementation, review, monitoring and evaluation as National Program Coordinator in Mozambique, Country Program Manager in Lesotho and Program Manager, managing UN Volunteers program in United Nations Development Programme in Mozambique and currently managing and coordinating Sexual and Reproductive Health, HIV, and COVID-19 Program in UN Agency for Migration (IOM) Mozambique. I have skills in;

- Leadership of the country office in Mozambique and Program leadership in development, management and monitoring country Programme;
- Management of large and complex health and humanitarian responses through engagement of united nations volunteers in Mozambique during floods and drought.

UNDP
Strengthened partnership with other UN agencies in Mozambique, civil society organizations, government entities and private sector in Mozambique. I oversaw Volunteer Infrastructure project that witnessed establishment of National Volunteer agency integrated as an executive arm in the National Volunteer council in Mozambique. I followed up with government ministry of Youth and sports to ensure that the cost-sharing pledge the government made for office space and pledge by UNDP materialized as resources for the project.
Skillshare Intl
I managed a country programme that focused on promoting and mobilizing international Volunteers to work alongside national staff in Lesotho. I managed 28 Skillshare International Volunteers in Lesotho. I significantly contributed towards Skillshare International UK – Lesotho programme planning, development, growth and overall management. I led the programme and participated in program design, implementation and my participation in the board of directors’ meetings helped in developing a vision and strategic plan to guide the organization.

Pact
I effectively provided and managed direct technical assistance in HIV & AIDS and orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) strategies for Pact’s sub-grantees and conducted technical and programmatic assessments of Grantee’s interventions. I also coordinated well consultation and trainings on development and implementation of programs and services aligned to donor recommended methodologies and standards and disseminated up-to-date HIV and AIDS scientific, programmatic and technical information and best practice models. I oversaw Implementing partners programme and advised on engagement of community Volunteers who formed the backbone of community HIV/AIDS programme service delivery in Lesotho. I was very instrumental in provision of guidance and technical oversight on the design and delivery of partner HIV-AIDS & Social Behavior change communication training curricula, training modules and publications. I also provided technical guidance and oversight on OVC program management with special focus on provision of OVC household-centered quality, comprehensive and compassionate care and support services for orphans and other vulnerable children, community nutrition.

Food for the Hungry InternationalMozambique
I was instrumental in developing Caretakers and Peer educator’s training manual which was akey guide to role of community Volunteers in the HIV/AIDS Programme. I trained implementing partners in Volunteer management to enable them produce desired results. I effectively coordinated HIV/AIDS Programme Designed to reduce the Impact of HIV and scale up HIV/AIDS prevention, OVC and home-based care in central province of Mozambique, under the PEPFAR/USAID funding channeled through USAID., supporting capacity building for local NGO partners, enhancing community based prevention activities, and liaised with the Mozambique National AIDS Council and other partners with HIV/AIDS program focus.

CNCS
I provided technical support to Maputo Provincial HIV/AIDS Nucleus on strategic directions and intervention strategies in the Maputo Province. And also contributed towards strengthening of capacity of the Provincial AIDS Nucleus in Project designing, Project Proposal writing, Lobbying for Funding HIV/AIDS Programme in the Province.
I effectively linked up with health facilities to ensure the Program beneficiaries’ health needs are addressed e.g. mosquito nets and malaria treatment, AIDS patients on ARVs, OVC health needs are addressed and other communicable diseases affecting program beneficiaries are effectively handled.
