Professional Experience: |
my academic background over the last decade has been built around international relations, international development, business, and data. As could be seen from my resume, I am in the final year of a 3-4 year Ph.D. program at University College London, with dissertation work focused on developing coherent policy options for national implementation of the post-2015 sustainable development agenda—that is SDGs, Paris Agreement, Sendai Framework, and Addis Action Agenda. Some previous academic works include:
- Masters of Arts from the George Washington University—International Development Studies with a final thesis work focused on helping oil-rich African countries invest in S.M.A.R.T infrastructures to accelerate sustainable and inclusive growth.
- Bachelors of Arts from Carroll College—International Relations and Business Administration with a final thesis work focused on how Ghana can avoid the resources curse, lessons from Nigeria.
- Graduate Certificate in Data Science from Georgetown University with final capstone focused on predicting future events based on text analytics

I have more than 7 years of professional experience within the international development space—focused on sustainability, environment, natural resources, energy, economic growth, as well as social and political research, strategy and implementation. Additionally, I have incredible expertise in big data, data analytics, and artificial intelligence that easily compliments my development background—particularly as it relates to data strategy, implementation, and outcomes. I also have a private sector, NGOs, multilateral development bank experience—including working as a consultant for the World Bank Group and also the Asian Development Bank.
