Professional Experience:

(1) Centre for Policy Research (CPR), New Delhi (2012-13): The PRS Legislative Research Unit at CPR aims at improving the quality of legislation by working closely with Indian Members of Parliament (MPs).
- Designation – MP Outreach Coordinator
- Responsibilities – Networking with Parliamentarians (about 350 of 790), of the Upper House (Rajya Sabha) and Lower House (Lok Sabha) to provide them quality research support related to policy & legislation.

(2) Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), India Office (1997-2009):
- Designation – Senior Development Specialist (Infrastructure & Private Sector Development).
- Role - Project management & administration of bilateral Technical Cooperation, Grant-Aid and Yen-Loan projects in Agriculture, Healthcare and Infrastructure Development.
- Responsibilities – Implementing bilateral funding projects in Private Sector Development and Transport Infrastructure Development. Eg., Master-plan for the Dedicated Freight Corridor Project (Mumbai-Delhi-Kolkata); Visionary Leader's for Manufacturing (VLFM), in collaboration with CII, IIT-K and IIM-C.

(3) British Council Division, British High Commission, India Office (1995-1997): Management of the Indo-UK Regional Engineering Colleges program.
- Designation – Assistant Manager (Technology).
- Responsibilities: Project Management of Design and Energy Themes for the Regional Engineering Colleges at Allahabad, Bhopal, Jaipur and Tiruchirapalli. Project components - procurement of equipment, training in UK, monitoring & evaluation.

(4) Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL), New Delhi (1993-1995)
Pilot-testing & commercialization of environment-friendly biotechnology. Designation – Assistant Manager.
- Responsibilities: Facilitating commercialization of biotechnologies for soil rejuvenation and waste management -- fermentation, vermiculture and aquaculture
