Professional Experience:
My experience included 14 years working in the Government procurement field. I was responsible for working with end-users and sourcing products required for their purposes. This involved working with Embassies, and their economic sections, establishing specifications, budgets, and marketing those products to cater to the end-users needs. Much of the business dealt with defense and security equipment including the Royal Thai Army, Navy, Police, and Royal Family security. This work required an understanding of cultural tact, and an inside knowledge of the local politics, and able to work with Government red tape and rampant corruption especially during times of political and economic instability. I also have another 9 years managerial experience in the hospitality field (Bar & Grill) in Thailand. This not only included day to day management of the business, but dealing with the marketing, staff training, product procurement, catering to large groups, functions and press conferences.
