Extensive experience in developing country program strategies for Canada’s multi-year engagement in aid recipient countries. Extensive experience in managing large portfolios in many areas such as revenue generation; public sector reforms; public financial management reforms; institutional capacity development; primary education; and democratic governance. Deep knowledge and experience in working in post conflict and fragile states, including conducting program review and risk management; and in keeping projects and programs geared to achieving results. Strong experience in leading and participating in donor coordination tables; in joint government/donor program review missions; and in contributing to policy dialogue fora between donors and aid recipient governments. Extensive experience in drafting project approval documentations and briefs for senior management and in leading negotiating for agreements with a wide spectrum of partners (NGO, UN, IFIs, private sector, recipient countries).
