Most recently, Michael Yost completed a ten-day legislative training for the International Republican Institute (IRI) in South Sudan for the National Legislative Assembly staff. Before this, Michael was the Michigan Coalitions Director for Romney for President, where he was responsible for developing support among key constituency groups from a variety of sectors.Michael has served as the Account Director for a Minneapolis-based public affairs firm specializing in issue advocacy and was the Executive Director of a grassroots organization that successfully trained hundreds of candidates running for local office.Michael has held notable positions in the campaigns of President George W. Bush and Senator Norm Coleman. He has worked in state government advising Governor Tim Pawlenty’s administration and served as a Legislative Assistant to Congressman Mark Kennedy in Washington D.C.In addition, Michael was a staff liaison to the U.S. Trade Representative’s Advisory Committee on Trade Policy and Negotiations (ACTPN) under both Presidents Bush and Obama.
