Professional Experience: |
At present, I am working for CARE CANADA, in Addis Ababa, with a technical leadership role for a regional project with a budget of over $13 million, funded by Master Card Foundation (MCF), aiming to increase financial inclusion for 480,000 individuals and their families in four target countries: Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burundi and Côte d’Ivoire. My personal belief is that developing financial markets from both supply side and demand side interventions are sustainable solutions.
For the last twenty years, I have accumulated a wide range of competencies in promoting financial inclusion, banking to underserved population, micro and small enterprises development, women and youth economic empowerment through market led solutions in West Africa and East Africa,
