Professional Experience:
Drawn by intellectual challenges as well as having an analytical mindset, I was chosen to fill a post as a research engineer within the Materials Division of Renault in France while conducting a Ph.D. dissertation in Materials Science. The dissertation is based on a current key industry issue: environment & energy efficiency. The choice of materials for study and the innovative approach through which it was conducted will allow up to a 75% reduction in computation time during the phases of vehicle design and consequently important energy savings.

I was recently able to deepen my professionalization through an internship at the Regional Office of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in New Delhi, India for 5 months. This opportunity allowed me to practically assemble and crosscut multiple policy domains such as green innovation and regional cooperation in South Asia, amongst others. Additionally, I led a research on the promising topic of the role of the BRICS on South-South cooperation addressing climate change by focusing not only on public policies but also on business opportunities.
Education:
I am a Doctor in Materials Science whose research consisted on developing a user-friendly model enabling to predict the behavior of steels taking into account microstructure data in order to meet the current environmental and costs challenges. This thesis was funded by RENAULT, one of the world’s largest car manufacturer, at the University of Technology of Compiegne – UTC in France.

In order to gain a solid foundation in public policies, practices formulation and thorough analyses, I was able to deepen my education through an M.A. in International Public Management at the Sciences Po’s Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA), specialising in environment and South and Central Asia.
Affiliations and Achievements:
Intercultural sensitivity: I have always been sensitive to intercultural experiences due to the fact that I was brought up in a family that was internationally oriented and lived in Africa, Europe and Latin America. Therefore, I have had the good fortune to have a comfortable level in four languages as well as a diversity of experiences in very different places, from sleeping on a mattress on a hostel roof in Syria, to going on a United Nations Brazilian battalion patrol in Haiti.

Communication and creativity: My experience as an actor in a Latin-American theatre based in Paris (Theatre Aleph) allowed me to found an innovative social and educational engagement movement on monthly basis (Experimental Theatre of Sciences Po Students – TESPO) which fuses conferences held by Sciences Po Professors with theatre, which deals with topics such as communication technologies and sociology. I gained, by leading this project, good insights into the critical role of community life in project’s success and in team management, which is a key element of project management.
