Professional Experience:
I have over nine years work experience in the management of communicable diseases with particular focus on HIV/AIDS programs (from prevention/education to palliative care, care and support for OVC, community HIV/TB care etc), malaria prevention, monitoring and evaluation, facilitative supervision, capacity building, project coordination/management, quality improvement in HIV/AIDS/Reproductive Health and management of Maternal and child health programmes. I also have skills in advocacy, administration, project/programme management, coaching/mentoring and leadership. I have attended several professional trainings both within and out of Cameroon in the domain of HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, care and support, TB, Malaria and Maternal and Child Health (MCH), Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs).

I hold a Masters degree in Public Health Education (MPHE) from the University of Benin, Nigeria and during my course time, I did a one year internship/preceptorship with President Bush Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) under the AIDS Care and Treatment in Nigeria (ACTION) Project.

I have worked as a consultant for International Labour Organisation (ILO) Cameroon, Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Cameroon and as a research assistant with CNLS/UNDP Cameroon where I carried out several research and baseline surveys. I also worked as Programme Manager for HIV and AIDS for Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) Cameroon which is an International Non-Governmental Development Organization that works through international volunteers to fight global poverty and injustice.
I currently work as Country Programme Manager for Sightsavers International, a British NGO working to prevent avoidable blindness in the world.

I have experience in designing and implementing rights-based programs with focus on gender, health related issues, social inclusion programmes and I have developed strong networking skills across different cultures. I have good working knowledge of the French language and a wealth of experience in cross-cultural issues.
