Professional Experience: |
I worked as the Deputy Editor of Sawubona Magazine, South African Airways in-flight magazine. In this role I helped conceptualise each month's issue. I worked with writers, edited stories, worked with the Art Director on art conceptualisation, did travel and writing and interviewed influential and inspiring statemen and women, business people and authors
In the beginning of my role I was very involved in the digital aspect of Sawubona contributing to social media and the strategy of the blog.
This was influenced by my role in Momentum Financial Services. My position as the Lead Digital Copywriter in iChannel dictated that I create the Momentum Tone of Voice that influenced the way the company and all departments communicated. I also worked with all communication heads to create wording that would be used on the rebranded Momentum website.
I am an author of one book and I have co-authored the South African Fact Book.
I have had numerous articles published in international and national publications.
I am currently travelling around Africa writing pieces on the continent.
