Professional Experience:
Bilingual (English - French), specialist of youth development and participation, with expertise in culture, human rights, democracy, peacebuilding and skills in project management, in capacity building, training, advocacy, partnership, diplomacy and negotiation, I interrupted my career as international civil servant at the International Organization of La Francophonie (www.francophonie.org) in 2014 to gain ground experience in politics.
Chairman of the political party MPS (Mouvement pour la Prospérité Solidaire) in Benin (West Africa) since March 2014, former municipal councilor in the municipality of Djakotomey, I was candidate to the 2016 presidential election in the Republic of Benin.
Over more than 15 years’ in multicultural teams in Africa and abroad, I have been acting for development including as students’ leader, as leader of civil society organizations involved in youth & adolescent reproductive health, child rights, peacebuilding, peacebuilding and conflict prevention, as program specialist in youth policies development, national youth councils setting-up/strengthening, youth training, capacity-building, human rights, democracy and peacebuilding, and as politician confronted to ground realities.
In my experience of project management, advocacy, capacity building and the setting-up of national youth councils, I have learnt to cooperate with various stakeholders (including youth organizations, women organizations, community based organizations, community and religious leaders, political leaders, government officials at all levels, regional institutions, etc.), to liaise or network with other development partners including UN system to avoid duplications, mutualize our resources and to have better impact.
