Professional Experience:
*As a Financial Analysis Manager, I Implemented a division operational and reporting re-organization, changed names and re-designed financial hierarchies to accurately define units, create long-term accountability and foster best practices. Financial analysis and reporting time improved by 3 days and eliminated the need for 4 more analysts.

*While in my Financial Analysis Manager position, I inherited a one-year backlog of incomplete, inconsistent reporting and poor financial planning projects. My first step was to review and establish planning guidelines, coordinate and contact stakeholders including senior analysts from each business unit to train and eliminate unnecessary reports. Worked with analysts to craft effective and efficient budgeting and forecasting allocation methodologies, took over full control of the budget within 3 months, promoted team spirit and closed second quarter financials on time.

*As a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, I successfully and accurately led a systems integration project for the general ledger (EPICOR) and the planning platform (Cognos). Improved systems automation by 30%, created seamless integration of the budgets, forecasts and actual financials into the planning system and financial variance analysis time from 3 days to 30-40 minutes.

*In my earlier work as a Business Control Analyst II, I launched and restructured operational and financial reporting platforms using Business Objects and Access to manage employee productivity, pool executions, investor profitability, secondary market sale reviews and ad-hoc reporting. Reliability and cost of external analytics reduced by 10%, employee productivity and transparence improved by 20% and pool execution analysis become more effective and efficient.

*Working as a Production Control Analyst, I implemented post and pre-funding internal control analytics using Six Sigma methodologies to control operational risk related to credit, compliance, fraud, fees and default. Internal controls improved significantly, contributed to the elimination of 3 non value-added positions and reduction of production costs by 15%.

Qualifications include a Masters degree in Accounting and Management. Also, my Bachelors is in Business Administration with a Finance concentration. Among all, I have accumulated quite a number of contuing education in the accounting industry including series licenses in securities.
