In 2015 amfori had multiple challenges; in 4 ½ years, twice promoted, I played a core transformative leadership role throughout, delivering major strategic and operational level changes:
- Drove scale and ambition of new Vision / Mission (amfori - Vision 2030)
- Successfully leveraged high-level collaborations to lead industry-wide systemic change, notably across competitors. Led effective joint remediation in crisis cases.
- Pioneered change in social audit quality and effectiveness globally, in often challenging circumstances, through a pioneering holistic, systems-focused Integrity Programme
- Led development and delivery of the largest Capacity Building programme of its kind for environmental and social performance in global supply chains, with a focus on behaviour change. Positive measured impact verified by independent 3rd party* in 2019 pilot assessment.
- Launched IT project of innovative new global Learning Management System, on budget and on time in 2016.
- Implemented major improvements in quality of engagement for members, delivering high retention rates, while maintaining growth (+11.5% YOY). Recently secured key accounts, e.g. Amazon, Woolworths Group, Target. amfori membership now includes 3 of top 5, 14 of top 20 global, and all top 5 European retailers.
- Created new Services Function; defining department strategy, specifying new job roles, establishing new processes, procedures and KPIs, while supporting effective restructure of whole organisation.
