• Coordinate the development and implementation of CivPol/JSSP-R training and mentoring evaluation throughout CivPol/JSSP-R, including:

o Creation of a uniformed mentoring file to facilitate quarterly review of CivPol/JSSP-R student’s professional successes and to facilitate continued professional growth of CivPol/JSSP-R graduates.
o Interviewing the legal principals from the defense bar, prosecutor’s office, primary court and appellate courts to assure that the professional needs of the specific stakeholder is being addressed.
o Assess public access to court proceedings.

• Traveled throughout Afghanistan to develop substantial relationships with Afghan legal principals.
• Align training efforts with international entities, NATO, ROLFF-A and NGO’s to maximize our training, mentoring and assessment efforts.

o Design the First ever “All Female FDD-Law,” training course.
o Creation of “Herat 120-Day Plan,” to strategically focus training and mentoring efforts.
• Develop resilient relationships with Herat legal principals, including providing conversational English tutoring, as well as RoL training and support.
• Align training efforts with international entities, NATO, ROLFF-A and NGO’s to maximize training effectiveness and prevent duplication of efforts.
• Chronicle the achievements of Herat CivPol/JSSP-R, mentoring efforts, financial expenditures, and training successes in a weekly report.
• Oversee and manage an annual budget of over $150,000.
• Provide day-to-day management and oversight of Afghan staff members in multiple venues to build the capacity of staff to play a substantive role in program development and implementation.
