In every program I develop strategies to encourage greater girls’ participation, for child centred methodologies and integrated and crosscutting issues.
I developed participatory assessing/evaluation tools for formal and non-formal education programs in “regular” and emergency situations. Over the years I also developed many modules for trainers, Ministry staff and teachers (TVET included) with the focus on pupils’/students’/participants’ centred Active Teaching & Learning (ATL) methodologies. I have extended experience in the evaluation of situation of teacher retention in formal and non-formal education (at all levels), including topics such as teacher selection, motivation, social recognition, certification, professionalization and incentives in different African, Asian and Caribbean countries in development.
