? Over 30+ years of progressive experience working with government, national, and international non-profit institutions in the field of maternal, newborn, child, adolescent health, gender, HIV/AIDS, SRH & rights.
? UNFPA Regional programme coordination, management, capacity development, technical support, representation, and advocacy including functions related to operational and managerial issues.
? Regional programme planning, delivery, and monitoring, including, leadership, oversight and guidance to regional team, fostering collaboration with government counterparts, UN agencies and development partners, mobilizing political and financial support to SRHR and supplies program aresa, including the design of national sexual and reproductive health policies, standards, guidelines, protocols, manuals, and trainings in multiple countries.
? Expertise in establishing new and robust quality assurance systems to exceed internal and external audit standards, team set-up, supervision, delivery of new technologies and solutions to respond to RMNCH needs of high-risk populations in multiple countries.
? Partnership development with regional, and national economic and regulatory agencies and laboratories like NEPAD, SAPAM, SAGMA, EAC, etc. for regulation, pre-qualification of manufacturers and/or testing of reproductive health commodities and supplies.
? Strong experience in the scale-up of reproductive health training and services in public and private, rural, and urban health facilities - including hands-on expertise in pre-and in-service nurse/midwife training and building health systems capacity to deliver quality services, engaging professional associations of doctors, nurses, midwives, community health, and other cadres of health workers across several countries – Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, Ghana, and Pakistan.
? Resource Mobilization – Experienced in resource mobilization and acquisition of funding from DFID, Packard Foundation, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and robust reporting to and communication with donors.
