Professional Experience: |
I started my public health career as a Technical Officer in pediatric HIV at National AIDS Control Organization, India. In this role, my main responsibilities were to inform the program by analyzing data from ART centers and to oversee the stock status of ARV drugs at these centers. Subsequently, I worked as a consultant to UNICEF for HIV primary prevention. I entered the nutrition sector working with Nutrition International, state office in India as Deputy State Program Manager for the Zinc and ORS program. I also worked as a program manager for an effectiveness trial on Double Fortified Salt in Uttar Pradesh, India. For the past three years, I am working as an independent consultant to a research team at the University of Toronto, Canada.

I pursued a mid-career MPH from Boston University School of Public Health, with a specialization in Global Health. Prior to this, I had done Masters in Health Administration from India.
