Professional Experience:
Review and rewrite the Internal Standard Regulations (ISR) for the country to bring up to date with country standards
Meet with national staff to review, discuss and resolve HR issues.
Meet with INGOs to collect information in order to do a complete benchmarking of salary and benefits package to bring in line with other local, international and gov't organizations.
Participation in on-going INGO salary surveys with other organizations within the country.
Advocate with management and HQ for changes on behalf of the staff.
Design and implement training needs assessment
Create and present 2 day workshop with staff from all bases, the HR tools to bring all the staff to the same level of understanding and competence.
Design and implement country wide recruitment policy to ensure transparency
Coordinate needs assessment for
ensuring best employment practices with national staff
Attend disciplinary meetings to ensure NGOs policies were adhered to by local HR staff and staff members.
Participate in Country Management meetings
Draft, implement and maintain personnel files and requests for training
Maintain accurate lists of stock coming in and going out to ensure adequate supply
Recruitment of staff from: identifying job gap, creation of job description, posting/advertising position, short listing applications, interview and test of applicants, reference checking, selection and orientation/induction of new staff
Influence and develope effective networks with local community groups
Developed capacity building tools with country teams
Prepare work and training schedules for employees
Live and work in close quarters with a wide variety of people from different countries
Liaise with local representaives, suppliers, clients, community groups
Negotiate with local community leader for participation in country wide vaccination program
