Professional Experience:
Experience in health, children’s, youth and family services, education and training and international aid and disaster coordination / response.

Current role manages global policy program that focuses on the protection of education in conflict affected and fragile states. Linking Education in Emergencies, Protection and International Law. Under my leadership the agency has contributed to UN lead responses in both the General Assembly & Security Council. Supported the development of a global network of actors who are actively supporting both programmatic and policy related reforms that enhance protection of education.

Before assuming the leadership role with EAA my role was the strategist for a senior official’s private office. This role focused on reform agenda within Qatar, supporting development of broad and agreed approaches in Health, Education, Family Affairs and International Development. In this role I supported project developments in Eastern Europe, MENA, Africa and Asia.


Previously worked on projects in Asia in Health Care, HIV/ AIDS prevention and Child Protection and coordinated disaster response.

I have worked as a clinician in community settings including the development of local capacities in indigenous communities.
