Over 18 years of hands-on experience in designing managing and implementing community conservation development projects, Bio-diversity conservation projects, sustainable rural livelihoods development programs and disaster response /emergency programs that seek to provide relief and uplift the lives of vulnerable people embracing value chains, market access for smallholder farmers, Climate mitigation, improved technologies, human rights and social protection initiatives;

• In-depth knowledge and practical experience in Rural Community Development Motivation (RCDM), Sustainable livelihoods, Wildlife and Environmental Conservation, Business Development and Management, Group dynamics and development, Gender development, Community health management, Rural water and sanitation, Relief food distribution and disaster mitigation/management, Community based natural resources management (CBNRM), Biodiversity conservation and Climate change mitigation
• Facilitation of knowledge building on integrated food security, wildlife and environmental conservation, sustainable agriculture and gender issues through identification of promising or best practices and lessons learned (Rural community development and motivation)
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience in writing project proposals and development of logical organizational frame works for project designing, monitoring, implementation and evaluation purposes (development of Indicators, outputs, outcomes)
• Demonstrated commitment to contribute to and promote a work environment that values diversity, inclusion and equity.
• Results oriented, self-supervised, efficient time keeper, and accustomed to meeting deadlines
• Strong facilitation skills with good facilitation, analytical and planning skills
• Strong people management skills and public speaking experience, with proven ability to engage diverse audiences – individually and in groups.
• Respect for diversity and ability to work in a multicultural team, manage human resources and able to lead a team towards goal setting and achievement.
• Ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Demonstrated experience in mobilizing communities in community forestry, food security, health, and income generation projects.
• Experience in participatory community processes (e.g. PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) and PLA (Participatory Learning and Action).
• Demonstrated advanced project management skills and experience in managing projects funded by large institutional donors.
• Practical experience in planning, budgeting, project management, performance monitoring, reporting and evaluations of grant-funded projects.
• Thorough understanding of Results-Based Management (RBM), Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E).
• Effective experience of working in partnership with local organizations in organizational development (OD), including devising and aiding organizations with organizational systems and structures.
• Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Effective Administrative skills and attention to detail, well-developed oral and written communication skills and experience in facilitating workshops and public events.
Education:
• Master of Business Administration –MBA with Public Administration- Africa Research University Lusaka.

• Bachelor of Public Administration-Africa Research University, Lusaka.

• Diploma in Forestry- Zambia Forestry College Kitwe.

• Advanced Certificate in Project Management- TVTC, Luanshya.

• Certificate in Environmental Education- Tree Tops Wildlife School-Mumbwa.

• School Certificate in Secondary Education -Kaoma Secondary School.

• Currently: Ph.D. Candidate-Governance and Public Policy- University of Zambia, IDE-Lusaka.

• Member of the Commonwealth Forestry Association-MCFA 2603.
• Member of the Forest Stewardship Council-FSC 2014 0209286.
• Member of the International Society of Tropical Foresters (ISTF).
