Chartered Accountant(CA) and Finance graduate from India with 24 years post qualification experience including in senior position/leadership role in Not for Profit, Educational and Research organizations and Health Care with a passion and flair for service and quality delivery, strategic management, scenario planning, capacity building, long term sustainability, budgetary and funds management, cost and waste management, human resource, donors relationships, grants and research administration, procurement, IFRS, US GAAP, OMB Circulars, regulations for USAID, PEPFAR and Federal funding, initiatives for poverty eradication, policy formulation, processes review and risk management.
I have worked with accounting software like Quick Books, Accpac, Oracle, Pastel in addition to expertise in Microsoft word, excel and power point.
Additionally, I am also serving as a Non-Executive Director and Vice Chairperson on the Board of Not for Profit Educational and Research organization hence understand the key deliverable s, intricacies and required expectations from all the angles.
I am of Indian nationality and presently working in Botswana, Africa.

I am working as a Finance Director for Botswana Harvard’s AIDS Institute Partnership (BHP), an international research organization and part of Harvard School of Public Health, Boston, USA. I am the head of Finance , Procurement and Human Resource and responsible for all financial, donor’s relationships, grants management, research administration, procurement, budget and funds management, financial statements, internal and external audit, EU Grants, USA GAAP, OMB circulars, employees relationships and other legal compliance's.
BHP is a Non-Profit Organization, which supports country’s HIV/AIDS and public health research, prevention from mother to child transmission, education and treatment services. Since its inception in 1996, BHP has partnered with the Botswana Government to conduct research and provide assistance in education, training, monitoring, and evaluation to combat the HIV/AIDS epidemic and other pressing public health issues. BHP gets its grant mainly from Harvard School of Public Health, USA, Central for Disease Control (CDC), USA, National Institute of Health (NIH), USA. BHP also has collaborations/ partnership with various Donors from UK, Canada on various projects, and spread in most countries in Africa. Presently BHP is handling more than 35 grants/projects. BHP also has collaboration with largest state run hospital and currently running 6 clinical sites in the country.
