Professional Experience: |
Eight years experience of working for a governmental body and more than thirteen years of experience with the international organizations contributed to my adaptability to changing conditions and gave me a wide range of theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
For the past 11,5 years I have been the Office Coordinator/Chief of Fund Administration for the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office on the Conflict Dealt with by the OSCE Minsk Conference (OSCE) of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, which dealt with the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict. As the Office Coordinator I was responsible to organize and lead monitoring activities at the Line of Contact (LOC) between the conflicting parties. It was the main task for the Office and at the same time the most important Confidence Building Measures. I managed a day-to-day contact with the representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Ministries of Defense in all locations (Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh region). One of my direct tasks were organizing high ranking meetings in the light of negotiations process, mediated by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs between the conflicting parties over the peace building processes in Nagorno Karabakh region. From the latter I have gained a valuable experience in the facilitation of dialogues and peace processes.
As the Chief of Fund Administration I managed all financial and administrative issues for offices in Tbilisi, Baku, Yerevan and Nagorno-Karabakh region. Duties included recruitment of the personnel, training, auditing, budgeting and the design of a financial reporting system.
I have wide theoretical knowledge about the conflicts in the Caucasus region, and deeply familiar with the region itself. During my service as the Military Observer for the UNOMIG, I got practical, very detailed and valuable experience about Sokhumi and the region of Abkhazia in general, as well as an enormous knowledge Georgia as a whole.
The OSCE position comes on top of an additional 8 years of senior management experience. During this period I received a wide knowledge in protocol and diplomatic relations. I was responsible for managing military relations between the Ministry of Defense of Hungary and the Ministries of Defense of Russian Federation, Ukraine, and the CIS countries, as well as Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland. As a Chief of Protocol Section of the Ministry of Defense of Hungary my task was to organize visits for high ranking military officials and to receive foreign high ranking military delegations.
I believe my deep familiarity with the conflicts in general and extensive working experience in the hazardous areas, which has influenced and formed my solid diplomatic skills and ability to work in sensitive and tense political environments; as well as my fluency in Russian and English languages would make me suitable for wide range of positions.
