Legal professional with a Master’s degree in History (BCL, LLB, MA History, BA) certified to practice in both civil law and common jurisdictions (Quebec and Ontario) with international experience especially in post-conflict countries (Rwanda, Sierra Leone); fully fluent in English, French and Spanish with professional experience in multi-lingual, multi-cultural environments and in multiple fields including democratic governance, rule of law, development, international criminal justice, immigration, gender and human rights; played multiple key roles in development and implementation of rule of law and governance project in Rwanda including serving as Legal Reform expert, Monitoring and Evaluation specialist, director of communications and project manager; experience within the UN as Legal Assistant at the Special Court for Sierra Leone where tasks included research and drafting of judgment sections related to international crimes (forced marriages, rape, slavery, child labor).
