Brussels-born Frederic De Pryck is a chemical engineer with long lasting experience in company management at managing director’s level, and in business consultancy from his own consulting company which he set up in 1993.
The companies that he has managed were active in the field of oil distribution (GULF, Q8, CHEVRON/CALPAM), executive search & outplacement (CLAESSENS) and translations (LFI, LMI, BERLITZ).
The main areas of consultancy are business development, organization & structure, business process re-engineering, and change management. He is also involved in the setting up of a European Teleworkers Association (ETWA) specializing in voice-to-text transcriptions and translations.
He has represented the State of Utah in France & Benelux since 1994, finding distributors and business partners for Utah companies in Europe, advising Utah companies on marketing their products in Europe, assisting Utah companies during Trade Fairs (CeBIT, MIPIM) and business visits, and organizing Trade Missions.
His network covers business, government and university contacts in Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxemburg and France, Italy, NATO and the European Union.
He is familiar with the main industries and SME’s active in information technology, communication technology, bio-technology, medical technology, aerospace technology, environmental technology and food & food processing technology.
