Professional Experience:
Since 2007, I was permanently employed and have been working in dfferent spheres of programm and project implementation, monitoring and evaluation as well as pre-accession and EU structural funds.
In Nomen Croatia (2007 - 2009) my first tasks were related to branding and marketing of "naming" the brands, companies etc. in the framework of the group NOMEN INTERNATIONAL (french-based) where I handle projects, develop and maintain a network of clients, teach and learn about the basics of intellectual property rights, searches and create various databases. I have actively participated in the processes of the company and was included in the business processes and decision-making.
Within the IPA cross-border program Hungary-Croatia (2009 - 2012) I have actively participated in the programme, monitoring and implementation of projects qualitative and quantitative nature. Powered by a process of evaluation of projects I have deveoped a criteria according to the rules of project management, in order to select an advanced and effective projects in comparison to those with smaller potential development. I have aslo participated in the preparation of the Call for Proposals by including all regulations and directives of the European Commission.
From 2012 until today, I am the Head of the Department of Sustainable Development and European Affairs in the City of Koprivnica, Croatia. During 2012 I have further drived the implementation of the establishment of bike-sharing system in the town of Koprivnica as the third project of its kind in Croatia, and as a part of the project CIVITAS Dyn @ MO co-financed from the FP7 programme (now Horizon 2020) introduced electromobility to Croatia by leading project of approx. 900 000, 00 EUR value. I have also initiated the process of the development strategy of for the City of Koprivnica, and have started working on the projcets aimed at connecting and developing SME sector with international actors, as well as connecting peers within europen context in cocational and educationl training (IPA IV project , Step toward new life possibilities, Exchange of knowledge in the best europen practices by education Roma population-ROMA SMILE, ERNE project, and some other Europe for citizens projects while ate the same time educating on PCM, evaluation and implementation of projects.
I have a keen interest in international affairs and development. At the same time I am hard-working, fully dedicated and great team player.
Education:
I was born in Croatia, in Zagreb on December 4, 1978. After finishing the XVIII. bilingual lyceeum, (French programme) and in 1997 participating at one of the first international exchange of students in Paris, I have graduated from the Philosophy Faculty of the University of Budapest where I have gained a Master's degree from the Hungarian Language and Literature in 2004, while in the same year I have managed to obtain a BA in International Relations at the US Webster University in Vienna. Currently I attend master course European Affairs at the Center for European and International Affairs based in Berlin.
