Professional Experience: |
Whilst I have done internships in many countries (Argentina, USA, France) my main work experiences are in Colombia and Nigeria. In Colombia, I worked initially in the Senate of the Republic for then Senator Jairo CLOPATOFSKY, aiding him in the organization of the campaign of his protege Javier PALACIO who remains part of the council of Bogota to this day. This experience working in politics was then followed by work done for an NGO called Arcangeles Grupo Social Empresarial, a social company specialized in developing different models for social inclusion of vulnerable communities in Colombia, with a specialization in reinsertion schemes for persons with disabilities. During my time with them, it was my duty to establish links between Arcangeles and entities of interest in Europe and the United States, such as Universities and same sector organizations. I then become their representative in Europe whilst I finished my studies in Sciences Po. Since 2009, I have been working in Nigeria for Total S.A. in the Community affairs deparment of their Nigerian affiliate TEPNG. Since my arrival, it has been my responsibility to provide solutions to emerging conflicts between stakeholders and the company as well as amongst stakeholders themselves, all while equally providing solutions to render the company's CSR policy effecient and impactful. Amongst other missions, I have had to develop indicators to measure the impacts of our policies, design strategic policy papers that define our investment strategy, and hold and manage hundreds of stakeholder interactions to attempt to integrate the concept of sustainability into the local psyche.
