I have twenty years of practice in the fields of human rights, rule of law and international criminal law with a special expertise in victims issues (access to justice and reparation). After four years at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC), I provided strategic and legal advice to the International Senior Lawyers Project (ISLP) on pro bono human rights cases and projects in Haiti. As International Justice Director of the International Federation for Human Rights, I organized and trained lawyers and human rights defenders on a wide range of issues including constitutional and criminal reform, ICC implementing legislation and rule of law. I am a member of the delegation of Burundi at the Conference establishing the International Criminal Court. I am qualified to practice law in France and in Cambodia (ECCC).
