Professional Experience: |
In a professional context, the majority of my work to date has been undertaken as an environmental engineer in consulting roles. The most notable engagement being 2.5 years as a consultant in the Sustainability Team at GHD (an international network of professional and technical consultants) in Melbourne, where the best part of my projects focused on the integration of resource efficiency (predominantly energy and water) with the built environment.
My experience as an intern environmental engineer in Colombia was another valuable experience and has given me an insight into environmental issues in the developing world and how a different mindset, in particular the awareness of local political and economic conditions, is paramount for effectively managing projects in these sorts of environments. The project objective was to establish a set of guidelines for the monitoring of coastal water quality in the context of recreational use.
Further details of these positions and other relevant engagements can be found in my attached résumé.

Education: |
I have recently graduated with a MSc from a consortium of four European universities as part of the Joint European Master in Environmental Studies (JEMES) program. My master thesis focused on the relationship between urban morphology and greenhouse gas emissions. Conversion of MSc grades to the 4-point GPA system equates to 3.71.
I also hold two bachelor degrees from the University of Melbourne; a Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental) and a Bachelor of Commerce. Graduation from both courses took place in 2006.
