Executive Manager, with 32 years of experience with Shell International in Downstream Oil and Refining Industry.
In my last two postings, I successively held the positions of Refinery Manager in Kenya, and General Manager of Shell Global Solutions Consultancy in Nigeria, leading the implementation of large Business Improvement Programs, with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.
Retired from Shell in November 2011, I took up the position of Qaiwan Group Refinery General Manager in Iraq (2013-2017), and then the position of Cairo Refinery General Manager, in Egypt, for the Egyptian Refining Company, until now.
Throughout my career, I had very successful track records of achievement in: growing the business, managing refineries (HSE, Asset Reliability, Profitability), including commissioning & start-up, and building up organizations and business processes, to the proper state of readiness, and finally, leading a Consultancy affiliate and implementing large business performance improvement and change management programs.
I also have an extensive international experience, through postings or missions, in Africa, Middle-East, China,
Far-East, South America and Europe.
I am now interested in new opportunities and challenges, in the Oil and Gas segment, where my extensive international refinery and business hands-on Management, or consultancy experience, would bring added value:
> Leading and managing a downstream oil & gas production center (Refinery, Gas Plant, Supply & Distribution).,
> Leading and managing new projects, including setting and building up organizations, business & work processes, to the proper state of readiness.
> Leading and managing commissioning and start-up operations of a new project
