My professional experience is as follows: 2011 June to date: DATF/PATF Manager, serving as the key SHARe II project contact for institutional capacity and systems strengthening support to Provincial AIDS Task Forces (PATFs) and District AIDS Task Forces (DATFs) in the assigned provinces. The scope of work involves: • Providing technical expertise and support related to HIV/AIDS response coordination, management and implementation, including preparing and conduct trainings and presentations, one-on-one training and mentorship, and other relevant means. • Supporting PATFs/DATFs to conduct institutional capacity assessments, organizational development and capacity improvement. • Providing technical assistance to PATFs/DATFs in Strategic and Operational Planning. • Providing technical support to PATFs/DATFs to improve documentation, communication and utilization of existing data for decision-making for quality interventions. 2009 – May 2011: District AIDS Coordination Advisor (DACA), coordinating HIV and AIDS programmes in Kabwe District, with National AIDS Council.

Scope of work involves: Planning • District programme planning management training, mainstreaming of gender/human rights /HIV/AIDS. • Strategic planning, action plans, priority setting, technical assistance to District Development Coordinating Committee (DDCC)/District AIDS Task Force (DATF); mainstreaming of gender/human rights /HIV/AIDS. • Project implementation: Planning, coordination, monitoring • Planning meetings for the District HIV/AIDS Task Force (DATF) and other stakeholders. Coordination • Coordination of the Multisectoral responses to HIV and AIDS in the district. • Developed a stakeholder map and conducted a stakeholder analysis • Coordinating training of members from various stakeholders to meet the project objectives. • Mobilization of stakeholders – developed a stakeholders directory
Technical Support • Providing technical support to District Development Coordinating Committee (DDCC) through the District AIDS Task Force (DATF) in developing annual action plans for mainstreaming rights based HIV/AIDS and gender sensitive programme. • Providing support to implement monitoring plan to capture information for reporting to relevant parties. (National AIDS Council (NAC), Stakeholders and the District Administration). • Preparing and submitting of quarterly, annual activity and financial reports.
Training • Facilitating training of stake holders in the mainstreaming of gender sensitive rights based HIV/AIDS programmes into governance. • Facilitated the development of the district HIV/AIDS strategic plan for 2006-2010 as a guide for all stakeholders and partners. • Training groups of Home Based Care givers, Psychosocial Counselors and Peer educators f
