Professional Experience:

I am an economist with a double spécilisation in applied macroeconomics and industrial economics. I trained project officer in knowledge mobilization and transfer of technologies under the Interval Network. This network was funded by the Ministry of Economic Development, Innovation and Export (MDEIE) of Quebec province (Quebec).

In Canada, I worked as a research officer and planning for partnerships and innovation support from UQAM. As such, I planned, negotiated, drafted and followed up contracts between the university and partners (industry, funding agencies, nonprofit organizations). I watched that such contracts comply with the prescribed time limits and deadlines. I made sure they comply with policies, procedures, missions and interests of the university. I was able to consolidate my skills to maintain effective working relationships with clients and partners. This allowed me to strengthen my skills in intelligence activities in research funding, the identification of internal expertise to satisfy the needs of external partners and the establishment of mechanisms for the enhancement and transfer more effective research results.

During the academic year 2009-2010, I worked at the University of Quebec in Outaouais (UQO) as a research fellow with the Dean of Research. I performed analysis and developed indicators to assess the impact of internal funding programs on the performance of the university. I participated in the implementation of activities aimed at increasing the visibility of research in knowledge mobilization and transfer of technology between the university and its partners: activities mesh; launch the project in Quarter Health "at the initiative of doctors, nurses and researchers whose purpose is to promote access for vulnerable populations in the Outaouais to services and health care.
Now, I am working at University of Montreal (CR-CHUM) as a postdoctorate researcher in public health.

Internationally, I worked at the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO), the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Senegal, the Association for the Development of Rice West Africa (WARDA), Laboratory of Economics of International Integration of Production (LEPII) in France. Within these institutions, I have developed skills in the following areas: assistance in finding financing, negotiation and implementation of public-private partnerships, planning and management and evaluation of projects, programs and policies, analysis of microeconomic and macroeconomic data. I participated in the establishment of performance indicators and analytical tools designed to assess the economic impact of policies, programs and projects on the dynamics of local, regional and national levels. So, I participated actively in the evaluation project of the World Bank to fight against poverty and exclusion in Senegal and the preparation and drafting of reports for analysis and synthesis.
