PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS AND AIMS
My research interests focus on the fields of youth development, violence, urban poverty, and migration, and I have published work on these themes in both English and Spanish.
I have a wide range of experience in qualitative social research, and in carrying out collaborative work with NGOs and local CSOs.
My professional interests lie in increasing the practical applicability of development research. I am seeking an opportunity to contribute to social development interventions through active research, participation in local community initiatives, and policy-relevant research. I consider myself to be a dynamic, sensitive, analytical and ethical researcher, and would thrive with the opportunity to become involved in direct community or policy interventions.
