Professional Experience: |
Most recently I worked with UN Women and UNDP in Papua New Guinea supporting the national and provincial governments to develop and implement systems to increase gender-based violence (GBV) reporting and strengthen inter-agency systems and referral pathways. I have designed and put into effect number of standard operating procedures, protocols and training manuals, that I am happy to share upon request.
Additionally, in my previous roles as a charity manager and assistant manager, I oversaw the implementation of the European Union (EU) funded programmes for refugee and trafficked minors in the United Kingdom (UK). I also coordinated projects in Sierra Leone for war affected women and girls. As a charity manager, I took over three significantly failing EU funded programmes (together worth nearly 1M GBP) and closed them all with achieving over 90% of planned targets and outcomes. In three years time, I developed the charity from two to five major donor funding programmes, doubling the charity’s income and expanding charity’s work into a new location in the UK. In Sierra Leone the programme expanded to an additional location, opening a new learning centre for displaced young women.
