Professional Experience: |
I have 17 years of progressively responsible experience in environmental management and sustainability, with over 7 years of international collaboration.
During my 10 years with United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA; present job), I’ve led 3 projects:
1. Project lead within US EPA’s national sustainability research program with focus on leveraging new and emerging online technology, innovation and improving environmental decision support tools; 2. Team Lead of the Report on the Environment (ROE; www.epa.gov/roe), a national assessment, monitoring and reporting program; and 3. Coordinator of the Causal Assessment Team (CAT; www.epa.gov/caddis), an outreach program aimed at improving international assessment practices, for impaired ecosystems impacted by – for example – land use, chemical stressors and climate change.
Before US EPA, I worked as an environmental engineer in the private and public sectors, during which I participated on and managed water resources projects for approximately 5 years. And before that, I led development of a climate-based agricultural decision support software application, funded by the US Department of Agriculture.
