Professional Experience:
I have 16 years of experience leading and overseeing monitoring and evaluation functions in Sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia and Middle East, providing technical and management support to education, Agriculture, Health, WASH, Social Protection and other sectors. I have successfully developed high level documents reporting on the progress and activities of international donor-funded development programs and has a record of successfully managing relationships with stakeholders in national governments, donor agencies and civil society organizations. My experience spans from building the M&E capacity of the Afghan Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, where I took lead in desiging a ministry-wide logical framework that included social protection inteventions, WASH, health, education, and other infrastructure projects. I was the lead technical person for the OFDA funded third-party monitoring project in Sudan where I worked under IOM and also got exposed to most EU-funded projects. I have worked with the Ministries of Education, Agriculture and Economic Development and Cooperation in Yemen, the Ministry of Education in Nigeria, and with partners in Malawi in enhancing their monitoring and evaluation systems. In addition to my M&E experience in conflict and non-conflict environments, I hold an MBA from the Maastricht School of Management and a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture from the University of Malawi.
