Professional Experience:
I have been working in public health for almost 7 years now. My experiences and skills are in communication and advocacy, fundraising and strategic partnerships, report writing and documentation, strategic planning and project implementation. I lead media events, supervise consultants, and build capacity in my work. I have initiated an alliance for safe motherhood in Bangladesh and have carried out project activities solely on my own. I previously secured partnerships and raised funds for a very unique social franchise network. I believe in networking and can balance work and relationships between colleagues very well. I work well under pressure and can deliver on time.
I completed my Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) from Mahidol University in Thailand in April 2011 with the third highest CGPA from my class of 43 students.I obtained my Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) in the fall of 2004 and had completed my Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA) in the year 2001. My concentration in Business Administration was marketing and finance. I also recently completed a summer course in Strategic Health Communications from Center for Communication Program, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, from Baltimore, USA in June 2012 which has been a value added along with my other educational qualifications.A major requirement for my MPH was quantitative research and I did mine on 'Over-nutrition Among Pre-school Children in Bangkok'and the summary of findings I presented at an internaitonal conference. I was always a good student with a willingness to learn.
