Part of the senior management team, tasked with oversight of research, training, and educational grants and programs and to strengthen the knowledge base around relevant global health issues through. • Responsible for all administrative, financial, and operational needs of the Center for Global Health including: o Oversight of all fiscal responsibilities related to USG grants and operating costs for the Center for Global Health including approval of all expenditures, financial reports and analyses o Management of human resources and personnel activities • Development of global health content for Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine Curriculum • Lead Coordinator for the Chicago Medical Response Team for Haiti, including a volunteer roster of 450 participants and the deployment of over 150 volunteers to Haiti • Represent Center for Global Health on senior faculty and administrative programs. • Guest lecture for Global Health undergraduate minor course, Humanitarian Relief and Health course (Public Health), and Program of African Studies; Health and Human Rights (Law) • Selected by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs “Emerging Leaders Class of 2011”
